There it is in the palm of your hand. A life laid out before you.
The oldest part of the shell is the smallest. Then it grew, day after day, winding out into beautiful, slowly expanding coils. This pattern continues until one day, the work simply stopped.
The shell's vacant entrance is, of course, a reminder that there is no longer something living there. But turning that shell over and over in your hand you might start to see beyond that individual snail's life. The shell's coils reveal a familiar pattern seen throughout nature: start small, slowly build something beautiful and one day, let it go.
It's a reminder to enjoy the serious work of forging a beautiful life and not being afraid of letting go when that time comes. It's part of the process.
